The Savannah College of Art and Design is holding SCAD day on October 2-3, it's gonna be awesome. I'm going to tour the school with a few friends and site see and other randomness. Maybe I could meet up with some of you guys who attend! Oh yeah I need to wip-up some kind of quick portfolio to show! Do any of you guys know whether or not my portfolio should be specific to my graduate studies (sequential arts, animation)- please excuse my lack of knowledge because I really don't know what I should include...
P.S. Watch the anime Black Lagoon or die from a lack of entertainment.
Very Great and Talented Artist who I consider my pals and Inspirations
SCAD day eh...oh boy lol. but if you're itching to have a good portfolio, then, show your good work and work that you like as well. scad is more than happy to give scholarships for talented people such as yourself.
i saw black lagoon and it was good from what i've seen.
ps: for pete's sake accept my invite for xbox live or i'm coming down to orangeburg lol.
Ok now that's good to hear! Question, did you you bring originals or prints of your work. Lol my originals tend to look like crap and it would be hard to carry that stuff around all day.
The school assigns you teachers for your first quarter, and apparently they gave me some of their worst. so my grade point average dropped below 3.0
SO - when they assign you teachers for the first quarter, see what you can find out about them - you can switch classes (which I did not know) in the first quarter, even though they choose teachers for you (so if you get a bunch of bad teachers, switch to different teachers/classes).

It died! My 360 died *cries*
No it's not that serious lol, i'm shipping it off now to get repaired.
well...get that dough my friend and i'll cheer ya on
No it's cool Microsoft is going to fix it no charge!
BUT, I would definitely only put the stuff you're most proud of in your portfolio. Regardless of what category it might fall under.
Your portfolio can have any random wacky shit in it. I put in comics and photos, and they gave me a $10,000 scholarship.
