(shhh, what do you mean I've been abusing these white backgrounds?)

In the majority of westerns I've seen in my lifetime (being way too many), the women tend to be about as helpless as a hamster sitting on a saltine cracker in the middle of the ocean. So I crafted my own story in hopes of feeling better about the situation and these are a few characters.

I've been working back and forth on this story for a few months now. It at least gives me a reason to practice character design and some storyboarding.

Waa waaaa waaaaaaaaaaaaa...! (ok should be the theme from the Good the Bad the Ugly but probably i mistaken some "a" or some "h", holy conservatory! XD)

About womens' helplessness in western, you're right, too much right, between the few examples of female main characters, and strong ones, i can 
come up with just Allie French from "Appaloosa" (Reneè Zellweger) and Jill mcBain from "Once upon a time in the West" (Claudia Cardinale *__*)
there are surely others but it's still a minority

All this blah blah and i was forgetting... great designs :)
